Some days I'm not sure that I can handle or want the knowledge that I've come to accumulate through this lifetime and lifetimes past. First let me say, please don't take that as me saying that I know it all - because I don't. In fact (I've said this many times), a person that says/acts/believes they know it all is not a person who I would trust. There are things I know and even more things that I do not know. I've spent much time with books, learning through reading and word-osmosis. Other knowledge I've accumulated through outer seeing in my environment and inner know-ing. Lifetimes past have left their own special code within my current incarnation, some of which has not been deciphered and other bits are present through obvious connection.
So, to come back to my original statement; some days I am not quite sure I can deal with the knowledge I do have. The feelings of not wanting to know are fleeting, they never stick around long because ultimately -knowledge is a priceless gift-. There are days, though, when I would like to be oblivious to what is going on around me, to the actions and reactions of the world. These are the days when I think life might be easier if I was oblivious... but not-so-deep inside I know that it wouldn't make anything easier. And I know that my life wouldn't be for the better if I wasn't on a constant path of learning. Part of the reason why I am experiencing life on this planet the way that I am is because I have chosen to educate myself. If what I have come to learn and know can help another person to become inspired, to live and self-empowered life that radiates loving energy then all of the days steeped in overwhelming and confused feelings were worth it. My greatest wish is to be able to inspire people to ignite their inner flame and for them to live a brilliant life filled with radiant love and in turn they help to ignite the inner flame of another.
With learning and knowledge in mind, I was reading "The Book of Stones" on a return trip from Winnipeg last week. It was the first time that I thoroughly read the section of the book Robert Simmons wrote as his explanation as to why stones work. My entire being resonated profoundly with the words of this passage. He writes about -the human crystal-, how biophysicists are suggesting that humans and other living organisms are actually liquid crystals. The structure of a liquid crystal exhibits a highly organized arrangement of particles, atoms and molecules in comparison to a regular liquid which lacks such order. Isn't that incredible? It blows my mind. It sends shimmering energy through every one of my crystalline cells to understand the complexity of life... organized chaos, abstract perfection, the pulsing energy of life, an indefinite cycle... where does it begin and where does it end?
There are endless questions that have yet to be answered, but how will we ever come upon the knowledge and understanding that comes with those answers if the questions are never asked?

For me a revelation is not about the Bible or about the "Him" God that Christians (and other religions) have centered their faith around. For me a revelation is a realization and it if you are blessed you'll encounter more then one revelation in your life.

The Power of Words.
If you were to read ONE single book of my suggestion I would put a copy of "The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz" in your hands and then I would ask you to read it multiple times throughout your life. Inside you'll find the key to illuminating your Spirit and living your life as a beautiful song.
Every once in a while the Jehovah's Witnesses arrive on my doorstep and they have a passage from the bible to read and something to say. I don't shoo them away, I don't yell or curse at them. I don't pass judgment on them simply because I don't believe in judging other people... not because I don't want to be judged. Of course I don't want to be judged but I will not hold myself responsible if someone chooses to judge me. They don't call me a sinner or shove their way into my house. We usually end up having an interesting conversation about faith and the differences of faith... and a common thread. Love. My belief is if you practice a religion that is of positive origin it will be filled with the beauty of love. There will be no judgment or suggestion of reasons to be fearful. After a talk with a young man who is a dedicated Jehovah's Witness I found that one motivation behind going door to door is to share "the teachings of Jesus because that is what he asked them to do". I asked about whether or not another reason they go door to door is to convert people and/or save them. He did concede that he felt, and is taught, that being a Jehovah's Witness is "the best" scenario for everyone. A belief that confused me and thoroughly interested me, it raised many questions. How can there be ONE best faith for the entire World when we are all unique? How can we even be sure of what IS and what ISN'T in these times? The veils are lifting, everything is changing rapidly but where is it changing to? How can we say where we are going? All there is to know for sure is where we are in this exact moment, this breath, this blink of an eye and whether or not is is the best place for us right now. If you are in YOUR best place for right now I would be so happy to know that.
If you are not in YOUR best place right now then where are you?
I know that I am following the best path for me right now. I am in a beautiful place and I am unashamed and happy to share that with you.
The other word circling my brain is "stereotype". I'm going to share something very personal and private with you, something I don't freely share with just anyone. I'm going to share that something with you right now because I am choosing to be unafraid and unashamed about what I believe in. I am Pagan. No, I don't dance naked around a fire chanting. I don't sacrifice animals. I don't curse people or bend another person's free will. I don't believe in satan or the devil and I don't believe in hell. I believe in the innate perfection of life and it's magical rhythm. I believe in honoring this rhythm and staying close to nature and feeling the heartbeat of Mother Earth. Above all I believe in Love and the magical energy it contains.
In the coffee shop the other day an artist was selling some prints that his sons (also artists) had made and recognized me. We started talking about the event he had seen me at and how his group had been kicked out because someone thought they looked like a gang. They had been wearing some black clothing and were sticking together. In reality, the group of men are a Native American drumming group. They practice sacred music together, practically the other end of the spectrum from a gang. Someone had seen them together, made an assumption (-Don't make assumptions.), judged them for what they saw (instead of KNEW) and attached a stereotype. My reaction was, without thinking, to start telling him about how we can break stereotypes. We need to honour ourselves by being our true self and to fuel our actions with love, respect and compassion to our fellow beings on this planet (humans, animals and everything else in between, above and beyond). The only way to break the stereotype is to not fall into it. Don't become something you are not, instead be unafraid and be yourself. I am Pagan and hopefully you see that I am not a stereotype.
I am an individual, unique and divine as are you.
- Be impeccable with your word.
- Don't make assumptions.
- Don't take anything personally.
- Always do your best.

Were they?
I'm starting to think that perhaps some of the hippies in the 60's were actually Indigo forerunners.

Why waste time being bitter, angry or frustrated? It only constipates your energy and there is no laxative for emotion. Seriously though, negative energy will only bring about negative experience. Positive energy will open the gates to love & prosperity.
I make the commitment to honour myself by choosing to accept full responsibility for my reality & my happiness.
I challenge you to open all of your eyes and do the same.

Peel off, apply label...
If I were to label myself the label would say "tree hugging, dirt worshiping, punk rock, hippie, pagan witch". I wonder if that is enough of a contradiction to nullify itself? If it's not I'm sure I could think up one or two more descriptive words 'cause after all, that is all they are. The words on your label don't make you who you are, YOU make you who you are. Your actions and the words you speak show people more of you then any label can explain.
To tie the energy of who you are and what you are doing to a single word, or groups of words, is just plain absurd. To tie the energy of certain actions and experiences to a single word is also over the top. Yes, words are good, but they are not final. Is anything truly final? I'm not really sure.
Along my path I've noticed there is a whole lot of spiritual jargon out there. Out of body experience, channeling, dimensional beings, higher selves, psychic attack, ascension, healing crisis, and the list goes on. I'm not saying that any of these words are attached to something bogus... I'm saying that all of these words to describe all of these things are so confusing and overwhelming. There seems to be a spiritual "fad diet" out there for all of these experiences. Read the newest channeling, access your higher self, ascend to new levels, prevent psychic attack, symptoms of a healing crisis. We're pointed in so many different directions at one time by words that have been attached to experience by another person. Some people need these words because they aren't ready to have their own genuine life experience without labeling it. I think part of this is to do with a need to fit in with a group of other individual with similar experience. I also believe that some people draw their energy by sensationalizing certain experiences, using the applause or adoration from others as their motivation.
Where you are on your path is not dependent on who you've studied with, what workshops you've become certified in or how many dimensions of your higher self you've anchored into this plane. These things truly mean nothing if you haven't had a genuine experience, and if you've had a genuine experience then you don't need the words.
